DAVID CAUDLE is the award-winning author of THE SUNKEN LIVING ROOM (Samuel French), a coming-of-age comedy-drama set in 1970s Miami. Mr. Caudle is an alumnus of the Dorothy Strelsin New American Writers Group at Primary Stages, where he developed several plays, including DOWNWARD FACING DEBBIE (Steele Spring Stage Rights), LIKENESS (indietheaternow.com), and THE COMMON SWALLOW (indietheaternow.com). VISITING HOURS (Steele Spring Stage Rights) was developed at Downstage Miami, Premiere Stages and at the Apartment 929 Theater Company. VISITING HOURS was named Best New Play of the year by the Times-Picayune for Rising Shiners' premiere production in New Orleans, followed by an acclaimed Miami production at the excellent but recently shuttered New Theatre, and a planned NYC production. His latest work includes a play, a screenplay, a series and a children's book, VIVA, THE VEGAN FLY TRAP, which he wrote and illustrated, and is now available here.
