Adam Samuel

Adam is a lawyer and compliance adviser. He wrote his first book at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in 1989 on Jurisdictional Problems in International Commercial Arbitration. A mid-career switch to financial services complaint handling and compliance generated his second, Consumer Compensation and Complaints, in 2005. By then, armed with the qualifications of a financial adviser, he was working for himself training, writing and teaching in the areas of both compliance and international arbitration. Adam's third book, Consumer Financial Services Complaints and Compensation from 2017 is essentially a second edition of Consumer Complaints and Compensation. Both of these books constitute the only books on UK Complaint Handling in the financial services sector.
