Richard Balls

Richard Balls is the author of three books: A Furious Devotion: The Life of Shane MacGowan; Be Stiff: The Stiff Records Story, and Sex & Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll: The Life of Ian Dury. He was a news journalist for 20 years, starting his career in local papers in London before moving to Dublin, where he wrote for a range of national papers including the Sunday Press, Sunday Times and Irish Times. Richard works in communications and lives in Norwich.
