Sheila Chapman

From the author: I grew up in the hills of Huntington, West Virginia the oldest of five children. Imagination was highly promoted by my mother, who allowed me to be creative in so many ways. As a child I happily played in the woods and waded barefoot in the creek, behind our home. This provided me ample opportunities for my imagination to grow.

Five months after I graduated high school I married my husband, Greg (whom I have been married to forever=really just 40 years) and eventually we had six kids, including a set of conjoined twin girls we lost at birth.

I've wanted to be a real author as long as I can remember. Writing stories on my toy typewriter as a little girl for hours and hours, was my favorite pastime, after reading books, of course.

I returned to college when our children were all teenagers to pursue my writing dream, and ended up double majoring in writing and psychology.

Long story-short by the time our children were all raised I graduated with my masters in Social Work. Now days you can find me three days a week at my private counseling practice. But it is not a drive thru counseling practice as of yet, like the title of my second book. My days off allow me time to pursue my writing dream.

It took a long time to achieve my goal, but I'm thrilled to say I just released my first children's books with Amazon Publishing. The Real Happily Forever After Place. And in April 2014 I published my first self help counseling book, Drive Thru Couple's Counseling.

Today I live in Dayton, Ohio where you can find me happily writing, playing with my grandchildren or seeing clients. Please contact me any time at sheilastonechapman@aol.com. I would love to hear from you.
