Anthony Pioppi

I'm a golf writer, historian and archeologist based in Middletown, Conn. I'm also the Executive Director of the Seth Raynor Society.

I'm a fan of nine-hole golf courses and hope my most recent book, The Finest Nines, North America's Best Nine Hole Golf Courses; and one of my previous books, To the Nines, get more people interested and playing nine-hole layouts.

I've also written two books on club histories published by the clubs, The History of the Minikahda Club Golf Course and Shoreacres: the First 100 Years, 1916-2016.
