Mehdi Shafaeddin

Mehdi Shafaeddin is a development economist, with a D.Phil degree from Oxford University,and international consultant with over thirty years of experience in teaching, research and policy advice at the national and international levels. He has numerous publications in international professional journals on development policy issues including: trade policy and industrialization, economic reform, WTO issues,competitiveness and development, food and agriculture etc. He had worked for UNCTAD for nearly 25 years and is currently an independent international consultant.
