Celia Stall-Meadows is a native of Tulsa, OK. She has been a university professor in fashion merchandising and marketing and an author for more than two decades. Her first textbook, "Know Your Fashion Accessories" was published by Fairchild in 2004. Her second textbook, "Fashion Now: A Global Perspective" was published in 2011 by Pearson/Prentice Hall. She is currently working on a third nonfiction book called "Why Would Anyone Wear That? Fascinating Fashion Facts" to be published by Intellect Press in late 2012. Stall-Meadows has also published numerous articles, a book chapter, and a fact sheet based on her research interests.
Celia's love for writing has inspired her to write a fiction mystery novel loosely based on a real life event she experienced as a teenage camp counselor in 1977 at a girls' camp in the midwestern U.S. The camp was the scene of a triple homicide of young girls. She is investigating potential publishers for the novel.
