Joanna Davies

Joanna Davies is a Welsh author who lives in the Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales. She's written several novels in Welsh and English. Her first English language novel, 'Freshers' was included in the Guardian's list of top 10 best Welsh underground novels. Each of her novels have appeared in the top 10 bestseller list in Wales.

Joanna is also a popular bilingual children's author. Her series of English and Welsh picture books for children about the Bwci Bo monsters have been selected as Bookstart books for the Booktrust and commended by the Reading Agency and the Books Council of Wales. Most recently, she's written a Welsh language sci-fi book for children aged 7-10, 'Dymuniad Dylan'.

She worked for 15 years as a TV and Online Producer for ITV, BBC and S4C. She enjoys pulp fiction and old Hollywood movies.
