Michael Rose

Michael Rose has been an HR and Reward consultant with KPMG, Arthur Andersen and his own consultancy, Rewards Consulting. He has also held a number of senior corporate Reward roles. Michael now spends more time in writing and speaking with a reduced amount of time on Reward strategy advice though www.mrosereward.com.

Michael was Vice President, Reward for the CIPD and has won the Compensation and Benefits Professional of the year award from Employee Benefits Magazine. He has an MA in HR Management, is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, a Companion of the CIPD and Fellow of the RSA.

He has had more than 25 articles published on HR and Reward, is a regular conference speaker and is often quoted in the media.

Michael's first book, Recognising Performance, was published by the CIPD in 2001. His second book, A Guide to Non-cash Reward was published by Kogan Page in 2011. His third book, Reward Management, was published by Kogan Page in April 2014 with the third edition in May 2022.
