Felix Winternitz

Felix Winternitz is an assistant editor and senior writer at Xavier Magazine, the magazine of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Texas native attended Temple University and eventually moved from reporting stints at mid-size dailies in Wilmington, Delaware; Savannah, Georgia; and Rochester, New York, to become deputy features editor and entertainment editor at the Cincinnati Enquirer. Then, for six years, he worked as editorial director at Cincinnati Magazine, and finally wound up as an editor at Cincy Business magazine and OHIO magazine.

Felix’s articles have appeared in USA Weekend, Aloft Inflight Magazine, Quill Magazine, Writer’s Digest, Panoramic Ohio, Cincinnati CityBeat, Dayton Daily News, Hamilton Journal News, Cincinnati Business Courier, Community Press, Long Weekends Magazine and numerous newspapers across the nation. He lives with his wife, Connie Yeager, and their daughters Katie and Abby, in Anderson, just a few paces from the Cincinnati city line.
