I write Celtic Noir – dark, spicy mystery-romance set in the wilds of Britain and western France. My protagonists are feisty, passionate women who never conform, have magic at their fingertips, challenge norms and right wrongs.
And me? I'm a quirky, off the wall, wild woman and Crazy Cat Lady. I share my ancient Shropshire farmhouse with my Mad Scientist husband, my black witchy cat, and a host of wildlife.
My family practiced the old ways of British magic since time out of mind so the old magic is in my bones. My Mum’s mum was a witch from the Isle of Mann who married to a Roma chovihano (dream seer). My Dad was a cyfarwydd (old Welsh for Taleweaver) and his family worked with Helena Blavatsky and Annie Besant of the Theosophical Society. One of my aunts owned the sacred well in our village, its story goes back 4,000 years, that was the inspiration for my first novel Owl Woman.
