Greg has allowed people to push him around and to define his career for him.

Why did he do that? It was how he was brought up.

Don't ask questions; do as you are told; what will the neighbours think? Directions he was given from a very early age. As a result Greg regrets not having taken control of his life and focused more of it doing what he loves -- writing.

Even though Greg's life has felt like a rudderless boat cast out to sea, he hasn't done that badly out of it. He has had several books published by leading publishers, spoken in front of some pretty large audiences, the largest being 6,000 people at a conference in Florida, and taken part in several television and radio programmes on the BBC.

Alongside this he has had a semi-professional music career having written music for film and television. He would tell you it is just a hobby he happens to occasionally get paid for! If you watch any of his videos on YouTube or on one of his many websites you may hear one of his sound tracks.

Now he has passed the age of 50 (a little while ago!) he is, at last, doing what he loves, helping authors to get their books sold using the internet as a powerful marketing tool. His book "How to Market Your Self-Published Books Online" gives the exact step-by-step process Greg and other authors use to promote their books on the internet.

Greg also loves speaking and presents his online book marketing methods to author groups around the world.

Greg will continue to write books for authors and publishers as he finds new ways to make the internet an effective marketing medium and sharing his findings with the world. He will also continue his musical hobby, and may continue to get paid for that too!
