Roisin Askale Kennedy

Róisín Kennedy is a curator and art historian, based in Dublin. She is a lecturer in the School of Art History and Cultural Policy at University College Dublin. She is former Yeats Curator at the National Gallery of Ireland (2006-08). She was awarded an Arts Council Bursary in Curatorship by the Arts Council of Ireland in 1998 for which she curated and catalogued the historic and contemporary state collection at Dublin Castle, and wrote Dublin Castle Art, (1999). Her research and teaching focuses on modernism, modern and contemporary Irish art, censorship, art writing and the reception of art. She has written and lectured widely on these topics.
