Marian Davies

Dr Marian Davies began her career as an ecologist following a BSc and PhD degree. During her own therapy she trained as a counsellor through a postgraduate diploma and MA. She has written the books: 'My Therapy'- a memoir of her 10 years in psychotherapy with an NHS clinical psychologist, 'Poems from My Therapy'- which gives expression to the many thoughts and feelings she experienced during the final few years of therapy and 'Boundaries in Counselling and Psychotherapy'- a text exploring the theory and practice of boundaries in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural and person-centred therapy.
