James E. Bidlack

James E. Bidlack, Ph.D., is a Professor of Biology and CURE-STEM Scholar at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), President of Metabolism Foundation, and Vice President / Chief Science Officer of The Genome Registry - all located at Edmond, Oklahoma. He is Past President of the UCO American Association of University Professors; Editorial Board Member for MERLOT/Biology; Secretary/Treasurer for the UCO Sigma Xi Honor Society, Past Co-Sponsor for the UCO Tri-Beta/Biology Club and proud supporter of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Circle K International, and the Mortar Board Honor Society. Dr. Bidlack is originally from Jenkintown, Pennsylvania and earned a BS in Crop & Soil Science from Purdue University, an MS in Crop Physiology from University of Arkansas, and a PhD in Plant Physiology from Iowa State University. He has been a Faculty Member at UCO for over 35 years.
