Grace Wells is an award-winning author and poet living in Southern Ireland.
Born in London in 1968, Wells moved to Ireland in 1991. Her first novel, 'Gyrfalcon' won the Bisto Eilis Dillon Best Newcomer Award, and was an International White Raven's Choice. 'Ice-Dreams', and 'One World, Our World', a publication for Irish Aid, followed.
Her debut poetry collection, 'When God Has Been Called Away to Greater Things', is being launched by Dedalus Press in May 2010.
Wells reviews Irish poetry for 'Contrary', the University of Chicago's Online Literary Journal. She lives with her partner and two children in rural Ireland, and is a committed environmentalist.
