Mike Beaumont

Mike Beaumont was born in 1950 in the great county of Yorkshire in the UK. He studied Modern Languages at the University of Durham and theology at London School of Theology and since then has lived in Manchester, Oxford and Teesside in the UK, Vancouver in Canada, and Kottayam in India. He is now semi-retired (which his wife Liz thinks is a laughable expression!), but has been a school teacher, pastor, seminary lecturer, conference speaker, author and broadcaster for both the BBC and UCB. He has worked with churches and seminaries in many nations around the world, teaching, training and mentoring young people. His great passion is helping to make the Bible understandable for people today so they can see it is still as relevant as it ever was. Mike and his wife Liz have three grown-up married daughters, two of whom live in the UK and one in the USA. His five grandchildren are one of the great joys of his life.
