Caroline Mills

Caroline Mills is an experienced travel writer who spends much of her time touring and visiting destinations in the UK and mainland Europe. She can often be found, walking boots on, striding or sauntering (depending on the time available) along the footpaths of Britain, looking for an astonishing view or exploring a forgotten village. At other times Caroline is searching out the very best campsites or sampling the delights of a street cafe, in between discovering the vitality of a particular city. That said, while she loves to visit 'other' places, she likes nothing better than to return to the farm where she lives on the fringe of the Cotswolds.

Caroline is the author of Camping Road Trips UK; Camping Road Trips France & Germany; Cool Caravanning; The Camping Pocket Bible; Slow Travel The Cotswolds, and has contributed to other travel guides such as Slow Travel Yorkshire Dales, Slow Travel North York Moors and AA 50 Walks in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

A lifelong camper, Caroline writes regularly for camping and motorhome magazines such as Camping & Caravanning, Touring Magazine and Practical Motorhome in addition to various national magazines and newspapers on travel, food, walking and the countryside.
