I am a retired Biology teacher/lecturer.

I published my first book 'Human Biology' (Heinemann Publishers) in 1982. This sold 25000+ copies before it was replaced by my second book 'Human Physiology and Health" in 1990. This has had 3 revisions and has sold 0ver 26000 copies. HPH was accompanied by a teacher's/student's resource pack, co-authored by Nicola Lyte.

I have also published a fieldwork resource package.with Newbyte Education, and I have also done considerable consultative work, including technical editing for Harcourt Educational, Harper Collins, Raintree Press and Biozone Learning Media. I continue to do this work.

From 2016, my wife and I self published on Amazon a series of children's picture books. My wife Ann Carlin authored these and I edited and illustrated them. Arin and Elik save the Earth is the first of a series of books, both authored and illustrated by myself.
