Carol Kemp

Carol Kemp has lived in east London all her life. She is a true eastender. She ran a pub with her husband Tom for forty years. In her book there are some really amusing tales about all the customers and film stars who visited their pubs over the years.

Carol & Tom have one son Matthew who has learning difficulties. Carol thinks

being a publican's son has made him so more aware of people and social skills.

Carol said their customers were all family people, the children of the locals became cutomers as they grew up and had their own families.

Today Carol and Tom are retired but still see lot's of their old customer's

on a regular basis for drinks and meals.
