Andrew Kelly

Andrew Kelly is the Yarra Riverkeeper. He was born in Melbourne, grew up in Melbourne and apart from a few years in England (the land of a portion of his ancestors) he has spent his life in Melbourne. He is passionate about the city and its history (and its river). His first picture book, Willam: A Birrarung Story (April 2019) was written with Auntie Joy Murphy and illustrated by Lisa Kennedy. Willam has been shortlisted in the ABIA, the CBCA and the Wilderness Society awards.His second picture book. Little Lon, came out in July 2020. It was illustrated by Mark Jackson and Heather Potter.
