Associated initially with sharing the experience of watching Chelsea Football Club, popular titles include 'Liquidator' and 'When Skies Are Grey', over time Mark has broadened the scope of his work to embrace fiction, 'Blue Murder' and 'This Damnation'.

Principally focused on working class popular culture and the intertwined relationships of people who follow football, fashion and music, Mark's writing is notable for bringing to the fore the need to destigmatize mental health issues. Having struggled for many years with anxiety and depression, Mark champions the therapeutic benefits of creative writing and has mentored many first-time authors on their publishing journeys.
