Eric Newman

Always wanted to be a child prodigy, but 83 now so I am cutting things a bit fine.

Sometime radio and television comedy scriptwriter, then became a satirical columnist. Very mature degree (aged 40), taught Liberal Studies in a tough Technical College, before becoming one of the first members of staff of the Open University.

Took voluntary early retirement, and haven't worked for 30 years.

Think I have gone off it.

This book is the distillation of my cynical travels through life really.

Reviewed as 'superbly written, witty, reminiscent of Tom Sharpe'.

Hope you enjoy it.
