Toby Musgrave

Dr Toby Musgrave has a passion for plants, gardens and garden history which began at a very early age and shows no signs of abating. With a degree in horticulture and a doctorate in garden history, both from Reading University, he has been an independent scholar since 1994. He has travelled widely in the footsteps of many plant hunters and has found an outlet for his enthusiasm and knowledge in a range of different media including numerous books, television, radio, newspapers and magazines, and as a lecturer. Toby lives in Denmark, where he gardens one of the historic 'de runde haver' in something of a cottagey style. And for something completely different he is also a qualified submersible pilot.
