Denis Wheadon was born in 1931 in Sherborne, Dorset, a small market town in Southern England. He came to faith in Christ and was baptised in 1945, served for a period in the RAF, married his wife, May, in 1951 and was ordained into the Christian ministry in 1955.
The ensuing years were spent in preaching the gospel in various parts of the United Kingdom through pastoral ministry, local radio broadcasting, and writing. Denis and his wife ultimately came to live in Bournemouth, a thriving seaside resort on the South Coast of England.
Denis and May celebrated their Golden Wedding in 2001 and they have one son, Ian, who is very happily married to Anong, who originates from Thailand, and one granddaughter, Anita, who is in her final year at University where she is reading Psychology.
May was taken to be with the Lord in 2009 after almost 58 years of marriage to Denis. He now lives alone in Bournemouth, in retirement, where he is still actively engaged in ministry. To accommodate all his writings (he first became a published author in 1976), he launched the Pen4God Global Ministries Website - it is an additional ministry, harnessing modern technology in the service of the Lord.
An important element of this Pen4God Website is its Bookshops, catering for the varied requirements of readers, his books being available as paperbacks, eBooks and especially Kindle eBooks; this last format he hopes to develop even more in the future.
