Robby Waddell

Robby Waddell, PhD (University of Sheffield) is professor of New Testament and Early Christianity, Faculty Chaplain, and Director of the Global Pentecostalism Center at Southeastern University. He is a research fellow at the Centre of Pentecostal Theology in Cleveland, TN, and he is a member of the editorial committee of "Pneuma: The Journal of the Society for Pentecostal Studies." Dr. Waddell is a representative on the Faith and Order Commission of the National Council of Churches. As a member of the Pentecostal and Charismatic Research Centre at Bangor University (Wales), he supervises PhD students in biblical studies and Pentecostal studies. His current projects include a book on Pentecostals and the Bible (Oxford University Press), a commentary on the Gospel of Mark (Brill Publishing), and a commentary on the Book of Revelation (Sheffield Phoenix Press). He is the lead pastor of Oasis Community Church in Lakeland, FL.
