Tony Kaplan

Tony Kaplan is a Cypriot poet and author who has lived in London, United Kingdom for more than fifty years. In his early life, he lived in Türkiye, where he learnt to appreciate nature and animals. In particular, he found inspiration from crows. After a career in building, he became a full-time poet and travelled to thirty-four countries, writing about love of nature, the search for romance, human suffering, and the foolishness of society. His poetry has been described by academics as life-affirming, humorous, and philosophical. True to his aspiration, the poems carry a borderless vision of human possibility.
