Chris Corden

Chris Corden is an award-winning film-maker and writer who has lived and worked in the West Country for over 40 years. Born in Nottingham, his working life started with repairing TV sets, before going into the professional theatre and touring both the UK and Far-East. From there he moved into publishing, and later journalism. His documentary films and books have focused on the people, stories, and history of the South West of England and many of these stories are to be found in his book ‘Salisbury Plain - Military and Civilian Life on The Plain since the 1890s. Now published in a new expanded edition to commemorate the dual centenaries of the end of WWI and the birth of the RAF, it contains over 300 photographs, documents and illustrations

‘The Chamber of Tregiffian’ is his first full-length novel set in Cornwall, weaving local myth and legend with modern characters to create a compelling fantasy thriller.
