Bob Perkins

Bob's latest book, "The Shadow of Your Wings," is an eighty-seven day devotional walking you through the life of David and the marvelous ways God used His servant to and for His glory. The work is the culmination of years of living with the David story and combines the deep theology with leadership principles that are essential for every leader.

His previous books include: "Defeated By Lunch," recounting the fabulous wine, food and people he has engaged over the last twenty years of visiting his beloved France.

"No Banana Splits" a perspective on the theology, philosophy, and methodology he used during his twenty two years with Young Life - a non-profit Christian organization reaching teenagers - in both the US and Canada.

"Building A Vision for Your Life" - In 1997 Bob developed the Vision For Your Life process - working with individuals to help them develop a perspective on life that originates with who they are created to be. He coined the phrase "Core Motivator," and subsequently wrote his first book, "Building A Vision For Your Life," now in it's second edition.

In 2003 Bob started Bob Perkins Consulting, an Executive Coaching practice that works with senior leaders helping them navigate their people and leadership issues. He believes that "every business is a people business, every problem is a people problem, and every solution is a people solution."

In 2006 Bob was frustrated by the limited selection of great Bordeaux in America and started "Art In A Glass." Each year he spends six to eight weeks in France tasting hundreds of wines, selecting ten to import for his club members.

He is married to his fabulous wife of over 33 years and has two wonderful sons, one awesome daughter-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren.
