Pamela Griffiths

Pamela Griffiths nee Cocker was born in Sheffield England in 1952. Pamela enjoys writing and has had many poems published over the years. Pamela has been awarded the National Local poem winner 2011 with her winning poem 'Home Sweet Home in Loxley Valley' her poem was chosen from many thousands of entries. She won a £1,000 prize along with a certificate. Pamela is the author of 'Control the Demon' a detective thriller, her first published book in 1999. Since then Pamela has been published in over fifty poetry anthologies and has had her own book of poems published 'Expressions of Life'. In June 2011 Pamela had a short story published in a book entitled 'Living Proof' a collection of short stories. Pamela's story 'Whispering Shadow' is now available for download in Kindle format. Pamela is also included in Poets of the year 2011 and Writer's of the year 2011. Pamela has also been included in three poetry CD's. Pamela was picked to write a poem for a 2012 diary out of over fifty thousand poets. Also again in 2013 and 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Pamela won a National Poetry award with her winning poem 'The best of British' picked from many thousands of entries. She is the author of the DCI Chrissie Charles novel 'The Stamp Master' and 'Heartless'. Other books and poetry books are listed on amazon.
