Patrick Gooch has enjoyed an interesting and varied career.
He studied History of Art, and went on to lecture at the Central School of Art and Design in London. However, marketing has long been his main occupation, and in this role he has worked for a number of German, American and British leading international companies.
In the UK, Patrick was appointed chief executive of a government-inspired trade council; and he set up the organisation `Foods from Spain` on behalf of the Spanish government. This led to the award of `Commander of Civil Merit` conferred on him by King Juan Carlos.
Married with two sons, he lives close to the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex.
