Frank McGinty is an author, teacher and parent, based in Scotland, UK.
As a parent of young kids Frank didn't always know what he was doing either! Mercifully, they're all grown up now and he can look back and laugh.
As a teacher (with a BA Honours degree in Literature and Psychology and post-graduate diplomas in Secondary Education and Learning Support), Frank knows that all kids have talents but are often hampered by low self-esteem and a lack of confidence.
His writing focuses on enabling parents and their children to appreciate themselves and others. Having fun is important to Frank, so he also writes kids' fiction for ages 4 to 16. Frank lives with his wife and has two sons, a daughter, four grandchildren - and a seriously lively Jack Russell terrier named Alfie.
When he's not writing Frank can usually be found at the theatre, reading, walking in the countryside, or playing the piano - especially the Blues. Drop by his website www.FrankMcGinty.com for more information.
