Chuck Tyrell

Charles T. Whipple is a native of Arizona who lives in Japan. He writes non-fiction about Japan and fantasy about a place like ancient Japan, complete with all mythological beings, and fiction about Arizona under the pen name of Chuck Tyrell. Whipple won many awards for his writing, including Best DM Ad, Editor and Publisher Magazine, USA; 4th place in the World Annual Report Contest; Best Article Award, Writer’s Digest Magazine, USA; Runner-up for best Photonics article in Photonics Spectra magazine, USA; Poetry award, Bravura Magazine, New Zealand; Haiku award, JAXA, Japan; Oaxaca International Literature Contest, First Place; Global e-Book Prize for Western Literature; Silver Medal, Fox Awards for journalism. He has one wife, two sons, four daughters, and 19 grandchildren.
