Michael D. Jones

My name is Michael Jones, I was born in Leeds in 1945. I had been decorating the homes of friends and family since the age of 14 so after several different jobs which I felt were not for me I decided to go into Painting and Decorating as my full time career at the age of 16.

My love of music and writing has been a constant throughout my life to date and while decorating put a roof over my head and food on the table, writing and music fed my soul.

Retired now due to health issues and married to Mandy for going on 15 years, we both enjoy writing poetry and short stories which we both hope to have published at some point in the future.

Hobbies are a big part of my life now and I collect stamps and coins to name just a couple of them.

A Cocktail Of Poetry is my own light hearted look at life. It is easy reading and entertaining and in some parts poignant and romantic.
