Michael Milne writes about classic cars and road trips for Hemmings Motor News, Philadelphia Inquirer, Hagerty, Classic & Sports Car (UK), Octane, Classic Military Vehicle, AAA and other publications.

For 2024, his latest book is the new 3rd Edition of the Roadster Guide to America's Classic Car Museums and Attractions. He, and his very patient wife Larissa, journeyed on an epic two-year American road trip visiting the sights in the guide.

He is also the author of 75 Top Car Museums: Europe & America, a collection of in-depth magazine articles he has written about leading car museums.

Hemmings Motor News Radio calls Milne the "Rick Steves of car museums."

When he's not writing about cars, Michael and fellow travel writer Larissa have been full-time global nomads with no fixed address since 2011. Their "Field-Tested Travel Tips" column in the Philadelphia Inquirer provides valuable advice for travelers. Their blog at Changes in Longitude won a Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Silver Award for Best Travel Blog.
