A retired, fugitive IT professional from an IT profession which I managed to get away with professing for 35 years, I have been catching up with much needed sleep since 2001.

Although a grammar school graduate, I did not go to university as at 17 I had to get a job to help to support our impecunious family.

Later, I spent six years in England working in: The Board Of Trade, Imperial Chemical Industries and Pye Of Cambridge before returning to Northern Ireland to work in an IT Bureau owned by International Computers Limited. Later still, I started to work for the Northern Irish Government in IT. I have lived in the Province ever since my return.
