I am a UKCP Registered Gestalt psychotherapist and trainer, a Teaching and Supervising Member of the Gestalt Psychotherapy & Training Institute UK, a founder member of Manchester Gestalt Centre, Full Member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy, Senior Trainer for GITA (Slovenia), advisory board member, Center for Somatic Studies and a guest trainer for many training programmes internationally. I am a Past President of the Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy. I'm the author of 'Self in Relation', pub. Gestalt Journal Press, ‘The Emergent Self’ pub. Karnac/UKCP and ‘Gestalt Therapy: Roots and Branches’ pub. Karnac, and many other book chapters and articles. I am a teacher and student of traditional Aikido (3rd Dan).

I bring to my writing 30 years of working as a Gestalt Therapist and my studies in Philosophy and in Aikido, as well as an interest in modern science, especially neuroscience.

My latest venture is to publish a series of papers on the theme 'Topics in Gestalt Therapy' for sale as Kindle booklets fairly cheaply. The first papers are now available, and more will be added as I write them. I am open to people who want to translate these papers contacting me on topicsingt@gmail.com.
