David Parker

Dr David Parker became a headteacher in Hertfordshire and later still a principal lecturer in Humanities and Masters Programme Director in the University of Plymouth's Faculty of Arts & Education. He has worked extensively abroad with Masters students in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden and served on three three-year EU funded projects - one on post-graduate workplace research (in the four countries just mentioned), and two in the newly independent Czech Republic and Slovakia on educational leadership. His own researches for a dozen books by various publishers, and numerous scholarly and popular journal articles, are centred upon British and European history in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
