Geoff Tristram

Hello folks! My name is Geoff Tristram. I'm a professional artist and cartoonist, but I also write comedy novels, which people seem to love, I'm pleased to say. The plots are very clever with lots of unexpected twists and turns, and the writing is sort of modern PG Wodehouse in a way, with touches of John O'Farrell, Jerome K Jerome, Alan Partridge, Ealing Comedies.... it's feel-good stuff, laugh out loud, with lots of deeply cringe-worthy and embarrassing set pieces, and the odd poignant bit, just to show how deep and sensitive I can be when the mood takes me!

I have 12 books out there, so here's a list:

A Nasty Bump on the Head, The Hunt for Granddad's Head,(both suitable for older children too) Monet Trouble, The Curse of Tutton Common, Vincent Gough's Van, Painting by Numbers, Stealing the Ashes, David's Michelangelo, and all of these feature chaos magnet and renowned scatterbrain, artist David Day, as he grows from an 11 year old to a 48 year old! I also have three novels featuring the unfortunately named Adam Eve, a struggling and similarly chaotic writer, and these are The Curious Tale of the Missing Hoof, Mr Maori Goes Home and my brand new one, Losing The Plot, all pieces of comedy genius that belong on TV. Finally, there is a new stand-alone comedy entitled The Last Cricket Tour.

So if you fancy something that's not too heavy, that will make you laugh out loud in public places, give me a go. You can buy the books from my website, www.geofftristram.co.uk and I'll gladly sign them for you! Howzatt?
