Kay McKay

Kay McKay lives in Scotland and has written four books - two adventure stories for able 10 -13 year olds and two humorous chick-lit which follow her heroine, Stella, post divorce, through the perils of internet dating. The first of the chick-lit books is 'A Little Bit Hilarious - Internet Dating For Beginners' and the sequel is titled 'A Little Bit Delicious - Internet Dating for Improvers.' Kay has subsequently written a 6 episode sit com series for TV based on these two books.

The Potion Maker - a story in which Hannah, Ben and Lucy find themselves kidnapped and taken to Eldoris, a strange land where the inhabitants of the 5 villages are becoming ill with a deadly fever and the children must make a potion to save them. Their efforts take them into the five very different villages to meet the inhabitants who live within and learn the fever is not the only thing that is needs fixing. Can the children solve the riddles of the unexplained happenings and find the lost sixth key that will restore harmony?

The Robot Factory - when a young man and his two uncles move into the house next door to Nick and Taz their appearance is not the only thing that seems weird. Things get even stranger when the new neighbours send a robot to invite them to tea. Nick and Taz make it their mission to find out what is going on in their neighbour's house - things take a serious turn when their mum turns out to be a cloned biobot but will the meddling by MI5 agents ruin their chances of rescuing their real mum?
