Sandra-Lee Hutt is a Philadelphia, Pa .resident, retiree from the First Judicial Family Court of Philadelphia, Domestic Relations, Child Support unit, Pisces born, caring and motivating published author in poetic themes of self-help, fantasy journey to reality. She is a widowed parent, grandmother, and great-grandmother to loving family members. Ms. Hutt's marriage was short-lived in happy moments in family life included travels with her deceased husband, George Hutt, resident of Bridgeton, New Jersey. Mr. Hutt devoted a large portion of his life in community services to better the lives of Philadelphia's children in public schools following his graduation from Drexel University in Philadelphia as a Design Engineer. Sadly, his sudden death was caused by an aneurysm. It was later discovered it is a gene in a DNA family trait. During the years employed as the executive director for the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority and a devotion in community service, George Hutt was appointed by the Mayor of Philadelphia, Richardson Dilworth as a member of the Philadelphia School Board of Education and a member of the National School Board Associations. Throughout the years of service many well-earned distinguished honors were awarded to him. Sandra-Lee met her husband during her employment in the Philadelphia School District's Administration offices as a secretary. Years later after attending community college for Journalism she decided to enter into the medical field, received a certificate as a Medical Transcriber which prepared her for employment as a pharmacy technician for ten years. A portion of those years Ms. Hutt became a community service volunteer in two churches in southwest Philadelphia to counsel at-risk youth and plan arts and crafts and creative activities for the youth and trained senior citizens basic skills in computer training. Writing was a hobby and later became a career choice. It was the inspiration from her husband who presented her first manuscript of poems to a New York publisher. The manuscript was accepted and her first book of poetry was published. 2nd book published in Victoria, B.C. Canada. Writing is now and has been a therapeutic intervention in Sandra-Lee's life of joyful moments, sad times, grief, abuse, shame and betrayal in realizing that our lives are very much like the four seasons in a year to reap and sow. Sandra-Lee survived seasons in her life that didn't all sprout buds in joy some of her poems reveal a bittersweet journey. Each season has a purpose to give faith and hope and accept things out of our control in lessons learned oftentimes second chances to what the next season will bring. Music melodies adds as an inspiration to write poems. This realization prompted this author to post a website with the artistry, assistance and creativity from her older son and the web design team of Vistaprint.com. Ms. Hutt reached out to amazon for representation after her younger son suggested she should publish on Kindle KDP and that she did which turned into a success and more publications including publishing a novel. Soon after, she deactivated the website selling framed poetry some now in Kindle KDP publications. There remains more poems from Sandra-Lee's creations of 300 + copywritten stored in the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C. and not yet published. Amazon has made her dream in becoming a writer, a reality. Amazon created an author page for this author. Ms. Hutt continues to share and write in the comforts of home, recalling memories in joyful moments knowing there is no retirement age for writers. She has also received social media recognition in followers including an opportunity for a screenplay from a film production company for the novel and letters of acceptance from organizations. It was her one and only patriotic poem in honor of the American flag and the service of our military men and women sent to the White House, Sandra-Lee received a letter in thanks during President Barak Obama's term as president.
