V. Thomas Hoban

V. Thomas Hoban grew up in Belle Harbor, New York, a beachfront community in Rockaway Beach, where he was a summer lifeguard, an avid baseball player and a child actor, having starred in over thirty television commercials. He graduated from The State University of New York at Albany with a major in French after studying abroad in Neuchatel, Switzerland and earlier, in Paris, France.

Hoban has worked in the financial services industry for twenty years and has just self published his first book, THE LETTER, a personal memoir. He is already at work on his second title, a work of fiction.

Over forty and still playing the game, Hoban manages an over 28 baseball team in a super competitive statewide adult league during the spring and summer. A seasoned blackjack player, Hoban has taken up playing No Limit Hold 'Em poker, winning several tournaments and is looking forward to playing in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in the near future.

He hopes his personal memoir, THE LETTER, will mobilize readers to pay it forward and write letters of their own to their loved ones without delay while spreading the word to inspire others to do the same. He is urging everyone to put pen to paper to write their own free "emotional insurance policy."
