Sharon Wellington-Johnson

Sharon Wellington-Johnson is an educator in Charlotte, N.C. She has taught high school and middle school orchestra, drama, chrous and has tutored middle school language arts and math students. She is an instructor for the FAME Academey of Music at Friendship Baptist Church. She currently teaches elementary music for Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools and writes children's books based on her original stories used to integrate music into core curriculum subjects.

She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a B.A. degree in Music. She has Masters Degrees in both Educational Leadership and Elementary Education (K-6).
