Ph.D. Juliet M. Getty

Juliet M. Getty, Ph.D. is an internationally respected equine nutritionist. Trained and educated in animal nutrition, she offers unbiased opinions and recommendations, as she is independent of feed/supplement/pharmaceutical company influence. She approaches equine health from a holistic perspective and considers nutrition first for the prevention and treatment of disease and disorders, before turning to medical intervention and the use of medications.

Dr. Getty's comprehensive reference book, Feed Your Horse Like a Horse, continues to be a must-have for every horse owner. It has educated countless horsemen and women in the science behind sound equine feeding practices. A tremendously valuable resource, one you might want to read cover-to-cover... or go directly to the section of immediate interest to you.
