Alaska has been home to Marie Osburn Reid ever since it was granted statehood. She is a graduate from Chico State College University in CA. Her three children were born and raised in Fairbanks. She considers it a great place to live with her husband Reford (Jeep) Reid, especially in summer!
She loves to tell tales about Alaska. With fiction for kids and curious adults, the history of Alaska comes to life in "Spirit Basket, Over 200 Years of Adventures in Alaska". "Climbing The Great Denali" is a short novel based on her son's climbing experiences on Mt. McKinley. "Over Rainbows" is a mystery at the start of aviation in Alaska. All three novels are paperbacks and e-books.
Previous publications appeared under the name, Marie Delilah Ward, such as stories in Highlights for Children Magazine and a few confession magazines long ago.
