Diane Sherlock has written a trauma memoir, MINOR ATROCITIES, four novels, co-authored a non-fiction book on writing voice with Aaron D. Gansky, WRITE TO BE HEARD (LPC Books), and adapted a flash fiction piece, THE GREEN BENCH, into an award-winning short film. Her short work has appeared in literary journals and anthologies including The Rumpus, The Citron Review, scissors and spackle, Bombshelter Press’s MO+TH, and more. She has been a finalist for the Art Smith Literary Prize, a Pushcart nominee, and screenwriting finalist for the Austin and Nashville Film Festivals, Sundance Table Read, and the Nicholls Fellowship. She previously co-owned and managed a production services firm and is a member of SAG-AFTRA. In addition, she worked as a freelance writer for several production companies and served as producer and production manager for film and television. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University, Los Angeles and is currently a creative consultant for books, films, and plays.
