Deborah Schneider

I write historical, contemporary and historical fantasy romance as Deborah Schneider.

I write stories about hopes and dreams, strong women and the men who prove themselves worthy of their love. My books are set in small towns, mostly in the Pacific Northwest and Montana. Not all of the locations are real, but I often wish they were so I could visit them.

I've been employed as a community organizer, a teacher, and worked for one of the busiest library systems in the country for over twenty years. In 2009 I was named "Librarian of the Year" by Romance Writers of America in recognition of my support for romance writers and authors.

Besides reading and writing, I enjoy crafts, sewing, creating cosplay costumes, collecting antiques and planning fun family gatherings. I'm living my best life at the edge of the Cascade Mountains in the Pacific Northwest in the small town known as "Twin Peaks" on TV and in the movies. I did not know Laura Palmer.
