Jane R. Wood

Jane R. Wood has written six children's books, weaving history and science into stories filled with mystery and adventure for young readers aged 8-14. Jane uses her experiences as a middle school and high school English teacher, a newspaper reporter, and a television producer when creating her books. She often speaks at schools, libraries, book events, conferences, and on podcasts and webinars. Wood earned a BA degree from the University of Florida and an M.Ed. from the University of North Florida. She has two grown sons and five grandchildren and currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband Terry. Wood is a member and past president of the Florida Authors and Publishers Association.
