Catherine A. Simon

Dr Catherine A. Simon is a Visiting Research Fellow at Bath Spa University and Chair of The International Education Studies Association (TIESA). Her main research interests are in education policy, school leadership and management and schools as organisations. She has a particular interest in education as a public service.

During her career, Catherine has taught in both primary and secondary schools as well as Higher Education. She has served as a school governor. She is a regular reviewer for several academic journals and serves on two editorial boards. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Fellow of the Leadership Foundation
