Cheryl Rodriguez Smyre

Author Cheryl Rodriguez Smyre was born on October 27, 1965 to Ms. Thelma Therethia Blackmon in Birmingham, Alabama. She was raised in Selma, Alabama until the age of 13 when her mother moved to Richmond, Virginia. Cheryl has been employed with the U.S. Government for 22 years. During her life in Richmond, Virginia she gave birth to Marquis, Chemar and Levar. Cheryl's first journey as an author began at the age of 8 when she would use her writings to escape the conflicts in her life. Over the years she has kept journals of the trials and tribulations in her life, allowing her to compose "Unfinished Endeavors" and her books to follow. Cheryl decided to share her life with her reading audience with the hope that she could help young women all over the world realize their self worth and avoid the pitfalls she endured in life. Cheryl currently resideds in Richmond, Virginia with her two sons.
